Ways of exercising your eye

Massaging your eyes


This helps to improve blood circulation around your eyes and face. And also helps prepare your eyes for exercise

Monitor direction
When using a monitor or any device make sure to the top of the device and your eyes are well level. This will help you look slightly down the screen which will have no damage to your eyes.

Eye zooming

This is another good way of protecting your eye from damaging. This helps you focus on object from certain distances.

Below are some ways you can do this

First thing to do is be in a comfortable position and stretch out your arm with your thumb up

Next stage is to make sure to focus on your thumb. After which you bring your thumb closer to you and focus on it till it’s 3-4 inches away from you.

Make it a point to at least practise this twice a week or everyday

Ways to prevent your eyes

1. Healthy foods

The best way to save and protect our eyes are when we eat good and healthy food. Eat food that contain good nutrients like vitamin C

2.Avoid smoke

Dont be where there is smoke because they will damage your eyes .And if you smoke too avoid it because is harmful because it’s destroy not only our eyes but also our lungs.

3. Use protective sunglasses

Whenever you want to step out make it a point to put on a protective sunglasses. This sunglasses will help improve your eye strains and keep your eye sight safe. Always use safety eye wear to prevent your eyes from dust and mud

4. Look Away From the Computer Screen

Always staring at a computer or phone screen for too long can cause you the following effect to your health ; Headaches, Trouble focusing at a distance, Neck, back, and shoulder pain, Eyestrain Blurry vision Dry eyes
