Trinidad and Tobago-born rapper and pop singer, Onika Tanya Maraj aka Nicki Minaj have shown interest in signing Ghanaian-Netherlands based singer Nana Fofie onto her record label after she fell in love with the Ghanaian singer’s mash-up freestyle of her latest song dubbed ‘Megatron’.
Nana Fofie who is affectionately called ‘The Mashup Queen’ due to her mashup freestyles to some songs on social media has won the heart of Nicki Minaj. The ‘Chun’ rapper once endorsed the Ghanaian singer after she performed with her(Nicki Minaj) as her backup vocalist at one of her Europe shows. However, Nicki Minaj’s love for Nana Fofie rekindled after she saw the Ghanaian singer ‘murdered’ her ‘Megatron’ song.
Megatron is a song by Nicki Minaj which was released on 21st June 2019 with the music video accompanied with it. The song happens to be the rapper’s first solo single in 2019. The song has received massive airplay and is ‘blazing’ on social media with the challenge accompanied by it.
Nicki Minaj took to her Instagram page to share the video of Nana Fofie rapping her latest song as she lauded her for her talent. The America-based rapper shared Nana Fofie’s video with the caption:
