Gov’t to train more female pilots – Aviation Minister

The Minister of Aviation has said the Ministry plans to prepare increasingly youngsters, especially females to progress toward becoming pilots.

Joseph Kofi Adda said his Ministry is collaborating the Ministry of Finance to help meet the lack of nearby pilots in the business.

The Minister said this at the “Young ladies in Aviation Day” sorted out by Women in Aviation International, Ghana Chapter at the end of the week.

The occasion, which united young ladies from schools incorporating Nungua Secondary School in Accra; Ola Girls Secondary School in Ho; and a few young ladies from Junior High Schools in the Accra city was held under the subject: “Associate, Explore and Experience”.

Mr Adda, who is additionally the Member of Parliament for Navrongo supporters, said the Ministry was endeavoring to build female experts in the aeronautics business as the quantity of the present female experts in the part was low.

The Minister said the Ministry will reveal an Aviation Training Academy activity that would give youngsters at the auxiliary and tertiary level the chance to study courses identified with flight and asked youthful females to join the preparation foundation to construct their vocations in the business.

Madam Juliet Aboagye Wiafe, the President of Women in Aviation International, Ghana Chapter, said the gathering would shape flight clubs in schools for the young ladies, where there would be prepped in flying prospects.
