It wasn’t long when award winning gospel artiste Joyce Blessing promised to never team up with her kindred gospel performers in the Industry. This is on the grounds that she accepts there is an excessive amount of false reverence in the business.
In an ongoing meeting on Graphic Showbiz last Friday, the delightful artist said Gospel performers are hesitant in pushing the brand of their partners.
“I have highlighted a few Gospel performers and getting them to try and advance the tune is an issue. The common artistes would prefer to share the melody and make commotion about it yet the Gospel artists won’t and it some of the time astounds me. The solidarity isn’t there and I feel humiliated about it regularly,” she moaned about.
As per Lady Prempeh, It is about opportunity Gospel performers met up for the benefit of everyone as opposed to looking for their individual advantages.
She included that the defaming in the business should stop since it doesn’t compliment Gospel artists.
Woman Prempeh is one Gospel performer who is known for including common artistes and she said teaming up with mainstream acts causes her success more spirits for God.
Away from Gospel performers and their issues, Lady Prempeh said the one thing she disdains in the music scene has to do with our music recordings.
“The recordings don’t have any bearing on the tune. With the mainstream melodies particularly, they simply march young ladies in the music recordings. Each music video must be important and recount to a specific story,” she said.
Woman Premepeh has throughout the years created melodies like; ‘Aseda’, ‘Enka ho da’, ‘Beka Meho’, ‘Ne Ntaban’ and ‘Nsohwe Mma Kwa’.
In the interim Lady Prempeh is out with her most recent single ‘Me Kaikai’.
