Bayern Munich has officially gone separate ways with lead coach Niko Kovac following 16 months in charge.
According to xorlali.com reports, Kovac leaves the club just a single day after they were whipped 5-1 at his past club Frankfurt.They are starting at now fourth in the Bundesliga, four points behind pioneers Borussia Monchengladbach after 10 games.

That was the result of a mutual discussion with Niko Kovac on Sunday involving Bayern president Uli Hoeneß, CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, and sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic, during which Niko Kovac offered his resignation.
Assistant coach Hansi Flick will take charge of the Bayern first team until further notice and prepare the team for the important games in the Champions League against Olympiacos on Wednesday and Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.
