A number of teams have started training toward the Premier league. Today, 20th May 2020, Xorlali.com has sighted Liverpool and Manchester United training in groups for the Premier league ahead.
Recall we reported that the government has given the green light to begin the Premier League. But the teams are to train in groups after it was revealed that only six positive cases came out of the 748 tests on the players and non-playing staff.
After the result, Chelsea, Newcastle and West Ham were to start training on Tuesday under strict social distancing measures, while Liverpool resumed group training at Melwood on Wednesday after manager Jurgen Klopp gave his backing to the Premier League’s Project Restart.
Klopp was the first to arrive at the training ground to oversee the first session, which involved 10 Liverpool players – including Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold, James Milner and Alisson.
