The 2023 Grammy Award Winners were announced on Sunday night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

The 65th Grammy Awards, widely regarded as the world’s most prestigious music honors, saw major wins for Adele and Beyoncé, as well as Harry Styles and Kendrick Lamar.

After receiving her 32nd trophy at the ceremony, Beyonce became the biggest winner in history.

“Harry’s House” by Harry Styles was named album of the year. Samara Joy (best new artist), Lizzo (record of the year), and Bonnie Raitt were also honored (song of the year).

Tems, real name Temilade Openiyi, of Nigeria, won the ‘Best Melodic Rap Performance’ category on Sunday night for her role in ‘Wait for U,’ Future’s 2022 hit song featuring Drake.

Tems is the first female Nigerian artist to receive a Grammy nomination. Burna Boy, on the other hand, was denied two awards at the ceremony.

Wouter Kellerman, Zakes Bantwini, and Nomcebo Zikode of South Africa defeated Nigerian singer ‘Last Last’ to win the award for Best Global Music Performance.
