As hours turned to days, Sunil drew on his mastery of Hindustani ragas and devotional hymns to continue hitting notes perfectly. He was allowed limited liquid intake to lubricate his vocal cords.

Sunil’s voice remained amazingly steady past the 80 hour mark. After 105 hours and 15 minutes of nearly non-stop singing, he finally claimed the new Guinness World Record title, almost doubling the previous mark.
