The Growth Story
Pizzaman Chickenman emerged on June 28, 2019, when Quick Angles, founded by Mr. Richard Nii-Amah Quaye, partnered with the brand’s founders as an angel investor. This collaboration led to the opening of the first Pizzaman Chickenman branch on KNUST’s Mango Road in January 2020. Fast forward to July 26, 2024, the brand proudly operates 65 stores across Ghana, a testament to its rapid growth and success.
As an Angel Investor, witnessing the remarkable growth of Pizzaman Chickenman from its inception to becoming a household name has been an incredible journey. Today’s branch opening is not just a milestone for the company, but also a significant contribution to our community. By creating numerous employment opportunities, we are helping to boost the local economy and improve the lives of man – Mr Emmanuel Lamptey, General Manager, Quick Angles said.
Ultrafast and Technology-Driven Food Service
Pizzaman Chickenman stands at the forefront of technological integration in the food industry. Customers can place and track their orders in real-time, ensuring a seamless and transparent experience from the comfort of their homes. Additionally, the introduction of self-ordering devices allows walk-in customers to place orders directly with the kitchen without interacting with any agents. This system includes display screens showing pending and ready orders, streamlining the process.
On November 1, 2023, the company launched the Chris B app, designed to combat online scams and provide a hassle-free experience for customers. This app enhances security and convenience, protecting customers from fraud while ensuring a smooth ordering process.
Regional Expansion Plans
Pizzaman Chickenman has ambitious plans to open 32 new stores in various regions this year, adding to the 63 outlets already thriving in Accra and Kumasi. Over the next three months, cities including Takoradi, Tarkwa, Ho, Cape Coast, Obuasi, Bogoso, Mankesim, Winneba, Assin Fosu, Sogakope, Somanya, Volta Region, Floa, Tamale, Nkawkaw, and Konongo will witness the opening of new branches. CEO Mr. Christian Boakye Yiadom recently announced these exciting developments during a media address, emphasizing the brand’s commitment to nationwide accessibility.
He also commended their major investor, Quick Angles, for being so aligned with the goal and vision of the brand, to the extent that they don’t struggle to secure funding. “We want to be a global brand; we want to be the first Ghanaian food brand to represent Ghana in other countries, and that drives us to keep on moving. This establishment has led to us creating employment for thousands of Ghanaian youths, and with this, we get so inspired and crave to do more because whenever we expand, we have to employ more,” said Mr. Christian Boakye Yiadom.
