As the Premier League season nears its climax, the race for Champions League qualification is heating up—and a SuperComputer has now made bold predictions about which five English clubs will make the cut.

According to data from Opta’s SuperComputer, five Premier League teams will earn a spot in next season’s UEFA Champions League. While Liverpool and Arsenal are practically confirmed, the fight for the remaining spots remains incredibly tight.

Only four points separate third-placed Manchester City and seventh-placed Aston Villa, making the battle for the top five one of the closest in years.

  • Manchester City – 95.1% chance
  • Nottingham Forest – 80.1% chance
  • Newcastle United – 77.6% chance

Despite their recent 2-1 defeat to Manchester City, Unai Emery’s Aston Villa remain in contention but are currently the outsiders. The loss sees them drop to seventh, and they now face an uphill battle for a top-five finish.
