Yvonne Nelson is a popular movie actress born in Ghana on November 12, 1985. She is also a model, film producer, and entrepreneur. She started her education at St. Martin De Porres School in Accra and later went to Aggrey Memorial Senior High School. She had her tertiary education at Zenith University College and Central University, where she did a degree course in human resource management.
She acquired her Masters Degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration(GIMPA) in 2020. Yvonne Nelson began film production in the year 2011 and has since produced movies like The Price, Single and Married, as well as House of Gold. Yvonne Nelson became known for her roles in the 2007 film Princess Tyra and the 2008 film Playboy. She is of the Fante and Ga people’s descent.
Yvonne founded the Yvonne Nelson Glaucoma Foundation in 2010 to help create awareness about the disease. She recorded an all-star charity single and shot a video to help educate people with the support from other Ghanaian celebrities. She also shot a video to help educate people about glaucoma. She was honored by GoWoman Magazine and Printex for her foundation and film career.
