Adalia Rose Williams, a 15-year-old YouTube star with Benjamin Button syndrome, has died. Williams was diagnosed with the rare condition when she was just three months old. She had been diagnosed with Hutchinson-Gilford progeria syndrome, which is also known as the Benjamin Button disease when she was three months old.
The rare genetic disorder meant that her body aged in reverse – meaning she had the physical appearance of an older person but the mind of a child.
She had more than 2 million followers on YouTube, 12 million followers on Facebook, and more than 100,000 followers on Twitter where she shared her struggle in life, as well as showing off her dances and her passion for music. Her last video was uploaded a month ago and has thousands of views.
Adalia Rose Williams death was announced by her family through her Facebook page on January 12, 2022, at 7:00 pm. According to Adalia Rose family, their child has touched millions of people and left the biggest mark on all who had the opportunity to meet her.
However, the causes of her death was not revealed.

“Adalia Rose Williams was set free from this world. She came into it quietly and left quietly, but her life was far from it. She touched MILLIONS of people and left the biggest imprint in everyone that knew her. She is no longer in pain and is now dancing away to all the music she loves. I really wish this wasn’t our reality but unfortunately it is. We want to say thank you to everyone that loved and supported her. Thank you to all her doctors and nurses that worked for YEARS to keep her healthy. The family would now like to mourn this huge loss in private.”
