Amy Freeze was born in the year 1975, Utah, USA. Also. she was raised in Indiana and she is the the first of five daughters. She was born to Bill and Linda Freeze. In 1992, she graduated from Jeffersonville High School in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
She furthered her education and in 1995, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. She also graduated from Mississippi State University in Starkville, Mississippi, with a Bachelor of Science in Geosciences.
Amy graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia with a master’s degree.
Amy Freeze’s Career
Freeze formerly worked as a meteorologist and co-host of 10!, a live entertainment show on NBC10 in Philadelphia, before joining WFLD. Freeze worked at both KWGN and KMGH in Denver, Colorado.
She began her broadcasting career in Portland, Oregon, at KPTV on Good Day Oregon. Also, in the comedy-drama television series Scrubs (2001–2010), Amy had a guest appearance in the episode “My Life in Four Cameras” (2005).
NJ.com named Freeze the Top Forecaster in New York for 2017. However, Fox News Media announced on October 6, 2021 that Amy will join Fox Weather as an anchor.
