When Was The TV Station Established?
Angel Broadcasting Service was started in March 2014 and is also part of the Angel Group of Companies. It is a broadcasting service that has its main office located in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
The television station was also establish on 24th October, 2016, two years after the broadcasting service was established.
The Angel Broadcasting Service has presence on two main platforms; television (TV) and radio. It operates Accra based Angel TV and a number of commercial radio stations. The radio stations are; Angel 96.1 FM and Pure 95.7 FM in Kumasi, Angel 102.9 FM in Accra, Angel 92.3 FM and Cheers 94.9 FM in Sunyani and also Cheers 94.5 FM also in Koforidua.

The television station is under the Angel Group of Company which is owned by Dr. Kwaku Oteng. He also owns a chain of businesses. Dr. Kwaku is also known as a philanthropist who has funded scholarships for needy students over the years.
Dr. Kwaku Oteng is also a successful business moguls in Ghana. He has established himself over a long period of time. However, he is also referred to as one of the leading men who when it comes to business strategizing and execution.
Is It True That Angel TV Is Burnt?
On Sunday,15th August 2021, it was reported that the Angel’s Accra branch was burnt into aches. According to reports, the Ghana National Fire Service was able to put out the fire.
However, the fire engulfed one of the television station’s studios and the Master Control Room, thereby destroying several items in the building.
