On Friday, August 5, 2022, authorities started identifying the victims who died in a fiery multi-vehicle crash in Windsor Hills that was caused by a speeding car that ran a red light and left six people dead, including an infant and a pregnant woman, and eight other people injured. The tragic incident happened close to a gas station at the intersection of La Brea and Slauson Avenue.
On August 4th, at about 1:40 p.m., a Mercedes-driver Benz’s accelerated through a red light. The Mercedes hit five other vehicles as a result, at least three of which caught fire. Some of the vehicles collided with a gas station sign as a result of the collision. Four individuals, including a pregnant woman and her unborn child.
The accident claimed the lives of four people, including a pregnant woman and her unborn child. The Los Angeles County coroner’s office named Asherey Ryan as the pregnant woman who died in the collision on Friday. In a fiery LA collision, Asherey Ryan’s boyfriend also perished.
Ashrey Ryan, who was from Los Angeles, was only 23 years old. The coroner’s office listed her unborn child as “baby boy Ryan” and included him in the dead list. Following the tragic collision, tributes have poured in for Asherey, who is thought to have been six months pregnant, and her unborn child.
