Aston Villa has shipped out Moussa Diaby on a permanent transfer deal to a Saudi Pro League club, Al-Ittihad Football Club.
Moussa Diaby is all set to join the Saudi Pro League after experiencing the English Premier League for just a season with Aston Villa. The French professional football after making a move from German Bundesliga side, Bayern Leverkusen in the 23/24 summer transfer window has agree to begin a new chapter in the Saudi League.
The Right-winger who can also play as an Attacking-midfielder has agreed on personal terms with Al-Ittihad. Moussa Diaby is set to ink a five years permanent transfer deal.
Al-Ittihad has also negotiated to secure Moussa Diaby’s signature form Aston Villa FC on a summer transfer fee of €60 million.
Moussa Diaby’s medicals is in line to take place in the next few hours as inside sources from Al-Ittihad has said. The deal will be completed in the next few hours.
Meanwhile, the Saudi Pro League is on a rise since the last two footballing seasons. It has seen great players such as Karim Benzema, Christiano Ronaldo, Edouard Mendy, N’golo Kante and several other top players who qualify to play in any top European club.
Further, the Saudi Pro League clubs would to ship in great players like Moussa Diaby into their league in order to uplift the competitiveness of the league.
