The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially released the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) results for school candidates. Thousands of Junior High School students across Ghana who sat for the exams in June can now access their provisional results online.

According to WAEC, candidates are encouraged to use the official e-Results portal to check their grades.

To check your BECE results, you first need a WAEC Results Checker. Below are the convenient ways to purchase:

1. Dial USSD:
   • Dial *713*3998# on your phone.
   • Select BECE and follow the prompts.
2. Online Purchase:
   • Visit buycheckercodes.com.gh.
   • Pay easily using Mobile Money.
3. WhatsApp Purchase (Fast & Easy):
   • Chat with the WhatsApp bot here  Click to Buy Voucher.
   • Select BECE Results Checker from the menu.
   • Confirm your phone number.
   • Approve your Mobile Money payment.
   • Receive your PIN and Serial Number instantly in WhatsApp and via SMS.

Note: One checker can be used 3 times to re-check the same results.

How to Check Your BECE 2025 Results Online

Once you have your voucher:

1. Visit https://eresults.waecgh.org.
2. Enter your Index Number.
3. Confirm your Index Number.
4. Select Examination Type → BECE.
5. Select Examination Year → 2025.
6. Enter the Serial Number on your checker.
7. Enter the 12-digit PIN on your voucher.
8. Confirm all details.
9. Click Submit and wait for your results to load.

Possible Challenges

Some candidates may face issues such as:

• Wrong Index Number entry.
• Expired/invalid voucher codes.
• Slow portal due to heavy traffic.

WAEC advises candidates to be patient if the website loads slowly due to high demand.

What to Do If Your Results Are Withheld

WAEC has confirmed that some candidates’ results may be withheld due to suspected examination malpractice. Investigations are ongoing, and affected candidates will be contacted through their schools.

Next Step: SHS Placement

Now that the BECE results are out, the next stage is the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS). WAEC and the Ghana Education Service (GES) will announce the placement release date soon.
