The BET Hip Hop Awards is a popular annual American entertainment event. The awards show honors hip hop musicians, producers, and other industry professionals. It was founded in 1995 by producer Quincy Jones and airs on BET.
The award show has been held annually since 2006, with the exception of four years during the 2010–2013 award show hiatus. In 2018, the ceremony was hosted by DJ Khaled and Cardi B at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
However, this year’s BET Hip Hop Awards 2021 was held on the 5th of October 2021 and was aired on BET, MTV2, and other channels.
