Black Sherif, a young Ghanaian rapper whose real name is Mohammed Ismail Sheriff, has been nominated for a second BET award. He has been nominated in the Best International Flow category for the 2023 BET Hip Hop Awards, where he will be competing against nine other rappers.

Among his rivals, three are African rappers: Sampa The Great from Zimbabwe, Aka, and K.O from South Africa. The remaining nominees are Major Rd from Brazil, Ninho from France, Tasha & Tracie from Brazil, Central Cee from the UK, Gazo from France, and J Hus from the UK. The awards show is scheduled to be filmed on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, in Atlanta.

Black Sherif was nominated for the ‘Best International Flow’ award at last year’s BET awards, but Benjamin Epps won the award instead. This year, Black Sherif has been nominated once again in the same category, alongside other talented artists such as Central Cee (UK), Blxckie (South Africa), Haviah Mighty (Canada), Knucks (UK), Le Juiice (France), Nadia Nakai (Zimbabwe), and Tasha & Tracie (Brazil). The 2022 edition of the BET Awards promises to celebrate 50 years of hip-hop, with spectacular performances and unforgettable moments.
