Shehu Dalhu was speaking at Alhaji Karim’s final funeral rights in Linguinsi, a community in the North East Region.

He stated that he made the call not just because Dr. Bawumia is the Vice President and a Manpurugu native, but also because he is competent, diligent, and humble.

According to him, Bawumia is the pride of the North, and he deserves to be supported in his efforts to advance to a position where he can continue to bring development to the North’s people.

He claims to know Bawumia well and believes he can guide Mamprugu and Ghana to the promised land.

He further stated that Bawumia is non-discriminatory and has good connections with Muslims and Christians of various sects.

He stated that he would rather accept a Southerner who is a devout Christian and capable at work than a Northerner who is inept and does not fear God.

“He is God-fearing, capable, and dedicated to humanity. All of this can be seen in his work as Vice President of our magnificent country,” he stated.

Shehu Dalhu has urged Ghanaians to prioritize humanity over religion and politics.

He added, “Religion without humanity is like a body without a soul.”

He urged people to avoid violence and issues that have the potential to harm society.
