“Suro nnipa na gyae saman”—Fear humans, not ghosts.
This chilling proverb has come to life in the most tragic way as the charred remains discovered along the Abuom-Abokobi road have been identified as that of missing Ghana Immigration Officer Otumfour-Nana Kofi Amoah.

The shocking revelation was made by Amoah’s brother, Akwasi Amoako, who confirmed that the body had multiple stab wounds to the chest and neck. In a cruel attempt to cover up the crime, the killers reportedly wrapped the body in a woolen carpet and set it on fire. The half-burnt remains were later identified by family members and have since been deposited at the Police Hospital Mortuary.
