Camidoh, a fast-rising Ghanaian musician, has pulled off a similar feat with his Sugarcane single, only days after Black Sherif created headlines in Nigeria by topping their charts.
The song, which has been one of the most popular Ghanaian songs on urban radio and across digital streaming platforms, was recently remixed with King Promise and Mayorkun from Nigeria.
Maybe that’s why it got to the top of Apple Music’s Nigerian Top 100 Music Chart so quickly. Raphael Kofi Attachie is the real name of Camidoh, a singer, rapper, music writer, and producer. He is from Aflao in Ghana’s Volta region.
