Chelsea vs Crystal Palace: Kick-off Time, Injury News, and Maresca’s Update

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has confirmed that his side will be without three important players when they face Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday at Stamford Bridge.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Friday, Maresca revealed that Benoît Badiashile, Levi Colwill, and Roméo Lavia are unavailable for selection due to injury setbacks.

The Italian coach noted that Colwill faces a long spell on the sidelines, while Badiashile and Lavia are currently in the process of recovery.

“[Badiashile and Lavia] are in the process of coming back [from injuries],” Maresca said.
“He [Colwill] is ok, but aware he’ll be out for a long time,” he added.

Chelsea head into the clash with renewed confidence after defeating Serie A giants AC Milan in their last outing. However, the absence of the three players will be a major concern as the Blues continue their Premier League campaign.

The Chelsea vs Crystal Palace match kicks off at 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 18, at Stamford Bridge.
