Didmus Wekesa Barasa is a Kenyan politician and former soldier. He has been a member of parliament since 2017, representing the Kimilili constituency.
He joined the United Democratic Alliance party shortly after leaving the Jubilee Party in 2021. Barasa previously belonged to the Amani Peace Coalition (2013), the United Democratic Forum Party (2016), and the Jubilee Party. Barasa did not introduce any legislation during his first parliamentary term.

Hon Didmus Barasa was born and raised in Kenya by Mr and Mrs Barasa. He attended Kimilili Boys Secondary School (now St Luke’s Kimilili Boys High School) from 1996 to 2000. He then enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering program at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT). He earned his Master’s degree in Occupational, Health, Security, and Safety Science from the University of Queensland in Australia.
