She began making and releasing music on SoundCloud as a teenager, having been born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She began writing songs at the age of 17 and has written over 20 singles since then. She has reportedly sold 34 million certified albums and singles in the US, according to the Recording Industry Association of America.
