Dr Emmanuel Boakye Ntim, CEO of Neb Travel and Tour, was presented with the Outstanding Industry Merit Award for Travel and Tourism last week at the 2023 CenBA Africa Business Excellence Awards, held at the Golden Bean Hotel in Kumasi.
Dr Ntim was one of various finalists across different business sectors honored at the awards ceremony for demonstrating exceptional leadership, business growth and community impact in their respective industries.
As the head of Neb Travel and Tour, a prominent hospitality and travel agency based in Kumasi and Lapaz, Dr Ntim has played an instrumental role in elevating Ghana’s tourism landscape through sustainable tourism development initiatives and advancement of local small businesses.
“I’m honored to be recognized among the greatest minds revolutionizing the travel sector in Ghana,” said Dr Ntim during his acceptance speech. “But the true reward lies in empowering young entrepreneurs to uplift our communities through transformative tourism projects.”
Over the past decade, Dr Ntim has pioneered educational tourism across Ghana, providing opportunities for students to learn about the country’s rich cultural heritage through organized school trips and expeditions. His steadfast commitment to enriching lives through ethical and responsible tourism recently caught the eye of awards judges.
Launched in 2016, the CenBA Awards spotlight hardworking Ghanaian businesses and leaders across all sectors that continue to reduce unemployment and enhance the regional business ecosystem. This year marked the fifth installment of the awards founded by CenBA Graduate Institute, an entrepreneurial training hub equipping startups and SMEs with modern business insight to spur company growth.
