LIMA 22: Esther Xorlali Kugbey, Tillylive, Doreen Avio, And Others Bags Nominations

On Saturday, February 4, organizers of the annual Ladies in Media Awards (LIMA) revealed nominees for the 2022 edition in a live stream on Mx24 Television in Ghana.

LIMA’s mission is to honor and recognize media personalities whose work and influence have influenced the creative media space in their respective countries, as well as to encourage upcoming and aspir­ing young women to strive for professionalism.

This year’s edition includes eighteen (18) categories and nominees from five (5) African countries: Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, Zimbabwe, and South Africa.

Tillylive (Ghana), Esther Xorlali Kugbey(Ghana), Roselyn Felli (Ghana), Jullie Jay-Kanz (Ghana), Doreen Avio (Ghana), MzGee (Ghana), Zanela Potelewa ( South Africa), Wanjira Longauer ( Kenya), and others are among the outstanding African women in the creative media space who have received nominations.

MzGee, Rosellyn Felli, Zanela Potelewa, and others were nominated for Africa Female TV Personality of the Year, while Doreen Avio competes for Africa Female Radio Personality with Samantha Musa, Miss Tess, Wanjira Longauer, and others.

Esther Xorlali Kugbey was nominated for Africa Female Blogger of the Year. Other female bloggers in the category include Tillylive and Jullie Jay-Kanz (Ghana). Ladies in Media Awards (LIMA) will be hosted online this year to reach a wider audience across Africa, according to organizers.
