Coach Otto Addo has presented the squad list for his two qualifying games against Angola and Niger as he looks forward to book a slot at the next African Cup of Nations.

The Ghana national team is getting set to face-off both the Angolan national team and the Niger national team for the African Cup of Nations qualifiers. Coach otto Addo in a press meeting today, August 29,2024, published the players who he deems fit and believes strongly with no iota of doubt that, they have the requisite footballing knowledge to secure the wins Ghanaians deserve and the points needed for Ghana to book a place in the next African Cup of Nations.

Therefore, Coach Otto Addo made a 23 squad list, comprising of three goalkeepers, eight defenders, five midfielders and seven forwards. Below is the full Full squad list for both Angola and Niger games against Ghana:

Goalkeepers: Lawrence Ati-Zigi (FC St. Gallen), Joseph Wollacott (Crawley town) and Fredrick Asare (Asante Kotoko).

Defenders: Alidu Seidu (Stade Rennes), Tariq Lamptey (Brighton And Hove Albion), Alexander Djiku (Fenerbache), Abdul Mumin (Rayo vallecano), Mohammed Salisu (AS Monaco), Jerome Opoku (Istanbul Basaksehir), Ebenezer Annan (OFK Belgrade) and Kingsley Schindler (Samsunspor).

Midfielders: Mohammed Kudus (West Ham United), Abu Francis (Cercle Brugge), Thomas Partey (Arsenal FC), Elisha Owusu (AJ Auxerre), and Majeed Ashimeru (RSC Anderlecht).

Forwards: Abdul Fatawu issahaku (leicester city), Joseph Painstil (lA Galaxy), Ibrahim Osman (Feyenoord Rotterdam), Antoine Semenyo (AFC Bournemouth), Inaki Williams (Athletic Bilbao), Brandon Thomas-Asante (Coventry City) and Jordan Ayew (Leicester City).

It is also sad to note that, the Black-Stars captain, Andre Dede Ayew did not make the squad this time due to the coach`s own decisions while forwards, Kamaldeen Sulemana and Ernest Nuamah are all missing out in the squad due to injuries. Plus, Baba Rhaman is also not making it into the squad due to his own personal reasons as indicated to the press by Coach Otto Addo.

Should the Ghana Black-stars bag all six points in these upcoming qualifying games, Ghana will certainly find itself in a better position to make an appearances at the next African Cup of Nations as the team seeks to end the over 40 years trophy drought.
