Ezekiel Machogu Ombaki (born January 1, 1956) is a Kenyan politician who is now the Cabinet Secretary for Education after being nominated by President William Ruto.
Machogu attended Nduru High School before transferring to Agoro Sare Secondary School in 1975 to complete his O levels. He studied Bachelor of Arts in Business at The University of Nairobi from 1976 to 1979.
From 1976 until 1979, Ezekiel worked as a District Officer in the President’s Office. Later, until 2008, he served as a District Commissioner. Until 2016, he was a Senior Deputy Secretary at the Public Service Commission. He was a Member of Parliament for the Nyaribari Masaba Constituency in the Kenya National Assembly in 2017.
In the 12th Parliament, Machogu served on the Committee on Regional Integration and the Members Services and Facilities Committee.
