Nigerian singer Fireboy DML’s latest song ‘Peru Remix’ that featured British music star, Ed Sheeran has become the number 1 on the UK Apple Music Top Songs All Charts.
Fireboy who saw it as a great achievement took to Twitter to announce the exciting news on his social media page on Saturday.
Sharing a pic of himself he caption it as number 1 in UK and added the screenshot to it on his Twitter timeline. His post received a lot of reactions from his followers as many congratulated him and wished him success.
The Peru remix by Fireboy DML and Ed Sheeran was released on 24th December 2021, and since then has become a trending and hit song played in all clubs in the world.
Before the release Peru Remix, Ed Sheeran disclosed how impressed he was with the original song ‘Peru’ and expressed how he had the song on repeat for a week.
“It’s addictive, and I’m obsessed with it. I mean, Cherry will tell you, I’ve had this song on repeat constantly in the house for the last week.”
The original version of the hit single which was released back in July had attracted global attention and also enjoyed massive airplay.
