NSMQ 2024: Full List of 27 Schools Competing in the National Science and Maths Quiz

As the 2024 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) National Championship approaches, anticipation is building nationwide. This highly anticipated academic showdown is back, with schools from every region gearing up for a fiercely competitive national tournament.

Over 100 schools are participating, all vying for the prestigious NSMQ trophy and national recognition. Among these contenders, 27 schools have already secured their places in the one-eighth stage of the championship, marking them as top-tier competitors to watch.

The intellectual face-off will occur at key venues, including the Centre for National Culture (CNC), the UCC Auditorium 900, and the School of Graduate Studies (SGS) Auditorium. These stages will host the intense preliminary and one-eighth rounds, where schools will battle it out to progress in the competition.

The official launch of the 2024 NSMQ, along with the balloting for the preliminary stage, is scheduled for October 1 at the New GNAT Hall, starting at 3 PM. The preliminary rounds will then take place from October 14 to October 17, as schools attempt to secure their spots in the later stages of the competition.

Viewers can catch the excitement of the National Science and Maths Quiz live on JoyNews and Joy Prime, with the event proudly supported by Vitamilk, NASCO, the German Ozone Medical Center, Royal Foam, Jamaa Soap, Heritage Christian College, Virtual Security Africa, Ace Medical Insurance, Chopbox Technologies, Sintex Tank, DBS, Built Financial Technologies, Beta Malt, and Family Health University College.
