Ghanaian high jumper Rose Amoanimaa Yeboah dazzled at the 49th Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) Awards, securing two of the night’s most coveted titles. The 23-year-old was named Sports Personality of the Year and Female Athlete of the Year, reaffirming her status as one of the country’s top athletic talents.

The awards ceremony took place on Friday, January 24, 2025, at the Accra International Conference Centre, celebrating Ghanaian athletes who brought glory to the nation in 2024. The SWAG Awards, Ghana’s oldest and most prestigious sports recognition event, continues to honour excellence across diverse sporting disciplines.

Barcelona B star Abdul Aziz Issah also had a remarkable evening, winning Prospect of the Year and Male Footballer of the Year.
