Who are Gail Devers Parents? Yolanda Gail Devers was born on November 19, 1966, in Seattle. Larry Devers, her father, was a minister, and Alabe Devers, her mother, was a teacher. She has one older brother, Parenthesis, who is a competitive bodybuilder.

When the kids were younger, she used to race with her brother and worked extremely hard to outperform him. Because she was an excellent runner, she quickly began competing in races at Sweetwater High School. She also assisted her team in winning numerous interschool trophies.
