Yolanda Gail Devers is a former track and field athlete from the United States. She was a two-time Olympic champion in the 100m for the United States, and her 1996 victory made her only the second woman to successfully defend an Olympic 100m title.

In 1996, she won her third Olympic gold medal in the 4 100 m relay. Graves’ disease was diagnosed in 1990, and she underwent radioactive iodine treatment followed by thyroid hormone replacement therapy. Larry Devers and Alabe Devers gave birth to Yolanda Gail Devers.

Who are Gail Devers Parents? Yolanda Gail Devers was born on November 19, 1966, in Seattle. Larry Devers, her father, was a minister, and Alabe Devers, her mother, was a teacher. She has one older brother, Parenthesis, who is a competitive bodybuilder.

When the kids were younger, she used to race with her brother and worked extremely hard to outperform him. Because she was an excellent runner, she quickly began competing in races at Sweetwater High School. She also assisted her team in winning numerous interschool trophies.
