Reopening Date for Basic schools in Ghana 2022: The Ghana Education Service that GES has finally released the reopening date for all public schools from KG- Primary, JHS, and Second Cycle Schools.

The reopening dates were approved by the Hon. Minister of Education upon recommendations of the Ministerial Committee on School’s Calendar.
Below are the reopening date ( Both Basic and Second Cycle School)
JHS 1-3    –  Tuesday, 18th January 2022
Primary 1-6 – Tuesday, 18th January 2022
K.G  1-2   – Tuesday 18th January 2022
Reopening Date for Second Cycle in Ghana 2022
SHS 3 –  Monday, 7th February 2022
SHS 2 – Monday, 7th February 2022
SHS 1 – Monday, 4th April 2022 (Tentative)
According to the release signed by the Public Relations Unit of the Service, the full calendar for the 2022 academic year from pre-tertiary public schools will be made available at various media platforms, MoE/ GES website and other social media handles.
