Denning Edem Hotor, better known by his stage name Edem, a Ghanaian music artist and entertainer, has lashed out at the Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO).

According to the ‘You Dey Craze’ hitmaker, GHAMRO, which collects and distributes royalties on behalf of musicians in Ghana, is the most ineffective body in the country.

This comes after GHAMRO began distributing royalties with registered members of the organization as part of the end-of-year payment, with some musicians receiving as little as GH153.27.

Edem expressed his thoughts on social media, with the words: ‘ No entity for Artiste in Ghana be useless pass “GHAMRO” on my Mama..on GOD”.

Meanwhile, Rex Omar, the Board Chairman of GHAMRO, recently responded to his opponents who have always chastised him for slicing musicians’ money at the organization.
