Thomas, 72, and Williams, 72, had been married for almost 30 years. The couple married in 1990 after meeting in 1985 at one of Williams’ gigs in Washington state.

Thomas and the former Monday Night Football crooner, who sang “All My Rowdy Friends,” had two children: Katie Williams-Dunning and Samuel Williams.

Williams-Dunning died in an automobile accident in Tennessee in the year 2020. Tyler Dunning, her husband, was in the vehicle and was critically injured.

Samuel Williams claimed in a video last month that his father and half-sister, Holly Williams, put him under a conservatorship days after Williams-Dunning died in August 2020, and that he wanted out.

According to TMZ, Mary Jane, who was in attendance at Williams Jr.’s recent induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame, is survived by the singer, their son, and three grandchildren.

The family has asked for privacy at this time, according to the outlet.
