BET Hip pop winner and VGMA artiste of the decade, Sarkodie has cleared the air of him recording a song with the newest singer Gyakie.
Sarkodie in a reply to a post made by pauseghana said he never recorded any song with Gyakie but rather attended one of the singer’s sessions.
Below is what the Sarknation CEO wrote:
“No observe but pls I simply occur to be across the queen’s session.”
There are rumors of these two great artists collaborating together after a photo of them popped up.
Gyakie is one of the promising young talents emerging in Ghana. She became very famous with “Forever” which became an instant hit across Africa.
Her remix with Omah Lay and subsequent promotion and activation in Nigeria was criticized by many industry players, accusing her of neglecting the Ghanaian space.
Sarkodie is yet to cook a song with her, for now, but Gyakie has records with D-Black, Bisa Kdei, Yaw Tog, and Amerado.
