Ghanaian musician and rufftown signee, Wendy Asiamah Addo, popular known as Wendy Shay, has finally revealed the secret behind her new look.
Recall the Uber hitmaker change her hairstyle and got social media buzzing with many people asking the reason behind the change. Well, Wendy Shay says she wanted to look unique and be noticed.
However social media critics believe otherwise for they think Wendy Shay, is trying to copy the late Ghanaian dancehall queen Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng, better known in showbiz as Ebony reign.
She revealed this when she went on KalyJay’s Space on Twitter and said in her submission:
“I want to be noticed. I wanted something unique while still rocking my natural hair, so I sought God for help and He gave me a vision, thus God inspired my new look.”
In the same interview, she stated that marriage will never force her to give up music, and she stated this in response to a question from one of her crushes. She said:
“I’m not going to stop doing music because I’m married. I’m looking for a man that gets me and understands what I do for a living. He has to be a God-fearing man with the same goal as me.”
