Award winning Ghanaian highlife singer and lynx award entertainment signer, Kwami Eugene has revealed why he doesn’t often rap but mostly is into singing.

Kuami Eugene who was been interview by Tilly Akua Nipaa on why he decided to focus on only singing or doing more Highlife music said rap does not pay in Ghana like other countries that’s why he quit rapping.

People know how to accept their music and make it big for them but our own people, we don’t know how to accept and make it big“.

He went on to say most rapper rely on hype for there is no money in the rap industry. This statement coming from him is surprising as he once in a while gives some hot bars like other rappers in Ghana.
