Fancy Acholonu, Alexx Ekubo‘s estranged fiancée, has set tongues churning online with her recent cryptic remark.

The entrepreneur announced that she has now been set free and is no longer under anyone’s control, leaving followers to speculate if she was referring to the Nollywood actress.

This comes just a day after rumours arose of a possible reconciliation between her ex-lover, fashion influencer Alexx Ekubo.

Fancy begged for God to bless everyone and for 2023 to be her year in a new year’s greeting posted on her Instagram profile on Monday, January 2nd. She also stated that a link had been broken and that she would now be able to speak for herself.

Fancy wrote; “Happy New Year everyone 2023 will be my year of strength, being fearless, speaking up for myself & FINALLY no longer under anyone’s control. I’m free, the chain is broken. May God bless us all 🙏🏽❤️ & 💡#SimplyFancy ✨”
