I’m Not Sammy Gyamfi’s Wife My Husband Is Jealous – Irene Amankwaa Karikari Cries Out

Irene Amankwaa Karikari, a former National Democratic Congress (NDC) Deputy Women Organiser candidate for Sunyani West Constituency, has denied being the newlywed wife of the party’s National Communication Officer.

Sammy Gyamfi, the NDC’s outspoken National Executive, married a lady who resembled the NDC loyalist in a traditional ceremony.

Some blogs speculated that she was the one due to the fact that Mr. Sammy Gyamfi is from the area.

The wedding, which had been planned for late November, was postponed until after the NDC’s National Delegates Congress, where the groom was running for re-election as National Communications Officer. Sammy Gyamfi later ran unopposed after his opponent was disqualified, and he won.

The Chain Homes Private wedding was attended earlier on Wednesday by former President and NDC 2020 flagbearer John Mahama, who served as the new couple’s Special Guest, as well as newly elected NDC Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketia.

Sammy Gyamfi has a son who turned ten this year, but he has not been married to the boy’s mother since his birth in 2012. A Pastor blessed the couple in a simple but elegant ceremony at the strictly invitation-only event.
