Samuel Asamoah and Justina Ansah gave birth to her. Maame Abby is the middle kid in a family of four. At Labone SDA School in Accra, she received a basic education, and then transferred to Juaben Secondary School, where she completed her secondary schooling.
Her desire to make a difference in people’s lives drove her to pursue a career in sonography and midwifery. As a result of her marriage, she had two sons with her husband, Mr. Godfred Ahenkorah-Mensah

She began as a backup singer on the church’s praise and worship team before rising to the position of leader. Maame Abby is a big fan of cooking. She continues to serve as a role model for many young people in her church and in her profession.
