Ewa and her mother were abandoned in the central Polish town of Radom. She hasn’t seen him since his brief visit to Poland in 1992. A year later, he would be executed for murder by a South African court.

When the communist authorities were still retaliating against Radom in the late 1970s, Janusz Walu, who was living in southern Poland, relocated there.

During this period, dissidents began to coordinate their efforts with Polish workers, laying the groundwork for the formation of Solidarity in 1980 and the eventual demise of the government.

Janusz Jakub Walu, a Goral Polish murderer, has been found guilty. He was a dual citizen of Poland and South Africa from 1986 until his South African citizenship was revoked in 2017.

Chris Hani, the South African Communist Party’s general secretary and the chief of staff of Umkhonto we Sizwe (MK), the African National Congress’s armed wing, was assassinated in 1993.

Walu is currently serving a life sentence in Pretoria’s C-Max for this crime (ANC). Walt was denied parole for the fourth time on November 13, 2020, despite his attorney’s claims that he had completed full rehabilitation.

Chris Hani was assassinated on Easter Saturday, April 10, 1993, just as talks to end apartheid began. Walu drove to Chris Hani’s home in Boksburg, Johannesburg, around 10:20 a.m.

Hani had just arrived home when Walu yelled his name as he exited the car. Hani turned around and was shot three times in the head and once in the torso.

Despite his denials, Walu exposed himself by mistaking one of the police officers for a right-wing extremist.

A thorough investigation revealed that Clive Derby-Lewis planned the murder and arranged for Walu to obtain the weapon.

The police discovered a hit list on which Hani was listed as the third person Walu and Derby-Lewis intended to murder. The names and addresses of Joe Slovo and Nelson Mandela were also included on the list.
