Authorities in Tennessee say they found the body of a man whose son had reported him missing weeks before.

On November 9, around 3 a.m., the 49-year-old was seen driving away from his son’s house in his car. Five days later, on November 14, his son reported him missing. The police say that Spencer didn’t have his wallet, couldn’t get to his money, and couldn’t be reached by phone.
The police didn’t say more about how or where they found Spencer’s car or body. McClatchy News asked the agency for a comment, but it didn’t answer right away. The police say there is no reason to think anything bad happened. There are about fifty miles between Clarksville and Nashville, which is to the northwest.
