Jenny Dolores Rivera popularly known by her stage name Jenni Rivera was an American Latino musician, songwriter, author, actress, and philanthropist.
She was recognized as the most important female figure in regional Mexican music during her lifetime by several media outlets. She also broke the bias of only males performing the Banda music, by being the first female to record and sell 10,000 copies becoming the highest sold in the genre.
Sadly Jenni’s life and career came to an end in December 2012 when she was involved in an aircraft accident en route to Mexico.
