We were heartbroken to learn of the death of Grammy Award-winning singer Jody Miller. For years, Jody has performed the National Anthem before to the first race at Remington Park, and her daughter, Robin Brooks, has been a member of the Remington Park Team. We express our condolences to the family.

The statement continued, “Jody was married to the late Monty Brooks, a successful Quarter Horse trainer whose brother, trainer Jack Brooks, was an eight-time winner of the All-American Futurity.”
