Jordan Ayew Biography

Jordan Pierre Ayew, a Ghanaian professional football player who competes for both the Ghanaian national team and Premier League club Crystal Palace, was born on September 11, 1991, in Marseille, France. He is Abedi Pele’s son and the brother of fellow players André and Ibrahim Ayew.

Ayew grew up in France and began his professional career with Lyon Duchère before joining the Marseille academy in 2006.

Ayew made his Ghana national team debut in 2010 and has since earned over 80 caps. He has appeared in two FIFA World Cups (2014 and 2022), as well as five Africa Cup of Nations (2012, 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2021), where he helped his country finish second in 2015.

Ayew began his career in Marseille as a trainee in 2006. In 2009, he signed a three-year professional contract with Marseille. Jordan Ayew made his senior team debut on December 16, 2009, in a league match against Lorient, scoring the equalizer. Marseille eventually won the game 2-1.
