Kanye West suspended from Instagram for 24 hours after attacking Trevor Noah with racial slur

Kanye West’s Instagram account has been suspended for 24 hours after he attacked his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, Pete Davidson, and Trevor Noah on the platform.

For the next 24 hours, the rapper accused of breaching the company’s hate speech, bullying, and harassment policies will be unable to post, comment, or send direct messages. West most recently hurled a racial insult at Noah, 38, on Wednesday, March 16, after constantly targeting ex-wife Kardashian, 41, and her boyfriend, Davidson, 28, in recent weeks.

After Trevor Noah, the presenter of “The Daily Show,” called him out for “harassing” Kim Kardashian throughout their divorce, he directed a racial slur at him.

On his Comedy Central show Tuesday night, Noah referred to West as “belligerent” when discussing the continuing tension between West and Kardashian and her new lover Pete Davidson.

Noah drew a parallel between the scenario and his own witnessing of abuse. He described how his mother, Patricia, was deemed to be “overreacting” before her stepfather shot her in the head. Patricia narrowly escaped the assassination attempt.

He said;

“What [Kardashian is] going through is terrifying to watch, and it shines a spotlight on what so many women go through when they choose to leave.

“What we’re seeing is one of the most powerful, one of the richest women in the world, unable to get her ex to stop texting her, to stop chasing after her, to stop harassing her.

“As a society, we have to ask ourselves questions. Do we wish to stand by and watch a car crash when we thought we saw it coming?”

Throughout the broadcast, Noah discussed West’s constant social media rants, in which he criticizes the Skims founder and alleges she is preventing him from seeing their four children: North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2.

West responded by posting a screenshot of a Google search result that described Noah as a “South African comedian.” “All in together now…,” he added as a caption to the photo. K–n baya, my lord, k–n baya, k–n baya, k–n baya, k–n bay My lord, K–n baya, K–n baya, K–n baya, K–n baya, K–n baya, Lord K–n baya, oooo.” West, 44, was ridiculing Noah, 38, by replacing the original words in “Kumbaya” with the vile “k–n” slur. Instagram has taken down the post.

West has also been warned that if he continues to break the rules, the corporation would take further action.

West, who has legally changed his name to Ye, has been going after Kardashian and her boyfriend, comedian Pete Davidson, and disclosing sensitive facts about their relationships to his millions of followers. He produced a new music video earlier this month that looked to show a claymation version of West decapitating Davidson and burying him alive.
