Former Qatari princess Kasia Gallanio was discovered dead at her home in the Spanish resort of Marbella. Authorities discovered Kasia Gallanio’s body inside the property on Sunday, according to the French daily Le Parisien. Kasia Gallanio was the third wife of Abdelaziz bin Khalifa Al-Thani, the Emir of Qatar’s uncle.
They married in 2004 and had three children, but after allegations that he sexually abused his eldest child, they fought for custody for ten years. The 45-year-old woman is fighting for custody of their daughters with her ex-husband. Kasia Gallanio’s death brings to an end a lengthy legal battle that began more than ten years ago. Depressed, the beautiful brunette was denied custody of the children, particularly because of alcohol addiction, in favor of their father.

Her ex-husband, Abdelaziz bin Khalifa Al-Thani, lives on Paris’ Boulevard Montaigne and is extremely wealthy. It did not sit well with him, however, that his 17-year-old twins, Noûr and Louna, fled to their mother in Spain for a few months. According to Le Parisien, he refused to take them back to his sprawling 5,000-square-meter mansion, and the two Qatari royal heirs are now forced to live in “modest hotels.”
On the other hand, many questions remain about Abdelaziz bin Khalifa Al-Thani, who has diplomatic immunity. Despite admitting to sleeping with his daughters, the 74-year-old former Qatari minister denied any incestuous relationship through his lawyer. The applicant’s daughter, on the other hand, claims that she has been touched “on the chest and buttocks” since her mother left the family home. The youngest of the three daughters still lives with her father and is about to leave school.
