Lauren Keyana “Keke” Palmer (born August 26, 1993) is an American actress, singer, songwriter, presenter, and television personality. She began her career as a child actress in 2004 with the film Barbershop 2: Back in Business and rose to prominence in 2006 for her role as Akeelah Anderson in the film Akeelah and the Bee. She has also appeared in films such as Madea’s Family Reunion (2006), Joyful Noise (2012), Winx Club: The Secret of the Lost Kingdom (2007), Ice Age: Continental Drift (2012), and Honey 3: Dare to Dance (2016).

I mean, like, I was trying so hard to keep it on the down low, cause I got a lot of stuff going on, you know?” she continued. “… But honestly this has been the biggest blessing, and I am so excited. Guys, I’m going to be a mom.”
Palmer added: “Even though some people feel a little weird about me having a baby cause I was a child actor, I just wanna say, look, I’m 29, I’m grown, I have sex, I own a home, I stormed the Capitol on January 6, you know? Things adults do.”
